My first attempt at panorama shots....

This is my first attempt at using the panorama assist function in my camera. Frankly I didn't know what I was doing. I saw a really big rainbow outside my window so I decided to try out the function. It was also my first time using the Panorama Maker software. So this is the result of the stitching. It looks a bit weird though. I definitely need more practise...

The ant...

I did not expect this ant to pose for me. I was practising taking macro photos with my Panasonic Lumix FZ35. I saw some ants crawling around the little flower patch downstairs at my apartment lobby. I placed my camera as near as I could and zoomed in a bit. This ant probably sensed the presence of my camera and just stopped there. It was probably curious or scared. I didn't have much time to think so I just took the shot. The photo turned out pretty well. This is an enlarged and cropped photo of the ant.
